Leon Bass: Curriculum Excerpts

Leon Bass was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1925. He served in the Army and was one of the liberators of Buchenwald. He later participated in the efforts of the Civil Rights Movement. After he became an educator and met a survivor who spoke at his school, he decided to speak about his experiences and their relationship.
