The town is a textile town and still is today, both manufacturing and also distributing. I have a father and mother and I have one brother who is 13 months younger than I am. He, he now lives in Florida. We had, my father had, in partners with another Jewish fellow. We had a Turkish towel factory, a small 14 loom weaving. I went to school the same as everybody else. Uh, school was mandatory as it is here, with the exception that in the sixth grade, you can choose to go to a secondary school, which is a high school here. The school itself was run by, by the synagogue. It was a Jewish day school where you learn German as well as a little bit of Hebrew, but it was mostly all Jewish kids that went there. There was a school, they had from one to eighth grade. And I did go to the secondary school as, as my brother did as well.
